From its humble beginnings, the Best Business Hotels in Asia Awards have become a regional success for leading media and events company First Charlton Communications (FCC).

FCC, through its leading publication Business Asia Magazine, initiated the Awards in 1998 as a way of recognising the achievements of Asia's leading business focussed hotels.

The Best Business Hotels in Asia Awards hve grown in size and stature since then and have quickly become the premier industry event of its kind. In 1999, FCC worked with Bloomberg Television to increase the profile and presence of the Awards.

FCC is a leading media company, whose respected industry titles include Australian Banking and Finance, Australian Telecom, Overseas Trading and The Chief Magazine.

Founded in 1985 by chairman Peter Charlton, FCC has also carved a niche as a top quality B2B events organiser, with dozens of local and international functions--from intimate CEO roundtables to large scale Awards nights--all under its belt.

For the past 2 years FCC has also been involved in television production, with advertising campaigns completed for the Australian Tourism Commission and Australian government body Axiss Australia. Both commercials were aired throughout Asia.
