Relieved to be racing but marquee event in doubt Turf club could miss out hosting major Cup RACING: Sunshine Coast Turf Club CEO John Miller is relieved there is still action at the track during the COVID-19 crisis but says it's "highly unlikely" the Caloundra Cup will be contested this year.
The region's marquee race meeting, which also features the Glasshouse Handicap and Winx Guineas, was initially scheduled for June 27, but it was not included in Racing Queensland's winter programming, released on Friday.
