Australia Dancing: Take Part an invitation to dancers of every kind.

Take Part is an online space for members of the dance community to contribute stories, opinions and images of their dance activities to the Australia Dancing portal-a National Library directory of dance resources. Established in mid-2006, Take Part aims to be inclusive and diverse in the form, style and cultural origin of dance that is practised in Australia. It ranges from Indigenous dance in remote communities to ethnic community dance, and from social and recreational dance to the most contemporary performance.

In this early phase of its life, Take Part is finding its feet in the web environment by engaging with significant young and mid-career artists who are not yet listed in the National Library catalogue or profiled in Australia Dancing. Some...
