THE finishing touches are finally set to start on the Sunshine Coast's international runway, now expected to be operational on June 14 after months of unprecedented rainfall pummelled construction efforts.
With lighting installed and line marking about to begin, project director Ross Ullman said the runway itself was on track for a May 21 finish.
