The refreshingly honest assessment by a clinical educator in the April ANJ ("Student dilemma", p3) raises genuine concerns from a contemporary perspective about the manner in which nursing education is managed. I sympathise also with the writer who presumably did not feel safe enough to express such views without fear of reprisal (particularly in light of recent academic contracts inclusive of 'positive' behavioural clauses) and consequently chose anonymity.
