The Australian Nursing Federation will celebrate its 90th anniversary next year. That's right--90 years. The ANF has a proud history, from 1924 where there were a range of state organisations. The aim was to create a unified federal body to speak with one strong voice for Australian nurses. Since then the ANF has grown to the second largest union in Australia, and largest health union. At a time when union membership has dropped, the ANF keeps growing. Our growth is based on our members, without whose support, contribution and activism, would not make the ANF what it is today.
