The first three articles i n this volume arise from a Global Shipping Law Forum workshop hosted by the Marine

and Shipping Law Unit, TC Beirne School of Law, University of Queensland on 4 July 2018. The Global Shipping

Law Forum was a joint initiative of the Marine and Shipping Law Unit at University o f Queensland, the Centre

for Maritime Law at the National University of Singapore and the Centre for Commercial Studies at Queen Mary,
