The ACT Government plans to introduce nurse-led Walk-in Centres (WiC) to Belconnen and Tuggeranong based on the success of the centre at Canberra Hospital.
The Canberra nurse-led walk-in centre, which has been operational since May 2010, has seen an 18% increase in patients between July to November 2011 compared with the same period the previous year.
