A COAST mother who is a double amputee has thanked a charity for providing her kids with a life-changing experience she was unable to give.
Michelle Roberts' children Cheyenne, 7, and Harley, 11, are two of 155 disadvantaged children who enjoyed SalTy Souls Legacy's six-week Stand Tall learn to surf program.
Ms Roberts, who lost her leg and opposite foot to a golden staph infection, said the program was invaluable for Cheyenne, who is deaf and has cerebral palsy, and Harley, who has autism.
