In a major win for nursing and midwifery, a formidable group joined forces in a submission to the Australian Government for funding to offer telehealth training and support for nurses and midwives. Led by the Australian Practice Nurses Association (APNA), the consortia consists of the ANF, CRANAplus, the Australian College of Nurse Practitioners and the Australian College of Midwives. In May the group was advised of their successful tender for the Telehealth Nursing and Midwifery: Support and Education Project.
