The start of the New Year brought about an opportunity for me once again to attend the Chief Economists Forum--an annual event put on by the financial sector for some 'big name' international and Australian leading economists to predict the economic prospects for the year ahead.
Now, although for about 80% of the two-hour forum I felt like I had no idea what they were talking about (economics and finance talk is definitely a foreign language to me), I did pick up on a few major key points that have particular meaning to the health industry and/or the public sector workforce of which I am a small cog in the wheel.
