NEW Division 4 councillor Joe Natoli says the community will not stand for intense development at the end of Mooloolaba Spit.
The former Maroochy Shire Mayor said as a divisional councillor he wrote to ex-Queensland Premier Peter Beattie in the lead-up to the new millennium, asking the State Government to gift land at the end of The Spit to the community, as a gift to mark the year 2000.
