Passage crew join forces.
THE push to establish a local waterways authority to oversee the Pumicestone Passage is still alive and moving forward.
A recent phone conference had 17 people join State Member for Caloundra Mark McArdle to discuss whether a waterways authority was viable.
"Overwhelmingly the response was yes," Mr McArdle said.
He said the waterways authority would be a body of local people and incorporate work undertaken by local, state and federal authorities, together with community groups and residents.
