The ANF has applied to Fair Work Australia (FWA) to improve wages and working conditions of nurses working in medical centres and clinics.
The ANF wants FWA to make a low-paid bargaining authorisation that would force employers covered by it to bargain in good faith with the ANF for collective agreements. The ANF argues the FWA application should be granted as pay and conditions of practice nurses are markedly inferior to industry standards.
