Screenwave International Film Festival: January 10-25, Coffs Harbour and Bellingen. Two-week film festival including nearly 100 feature film screenings.

Camp Creative Bellingen: January 14-18. A creative summer school for families and individuals full of learning and experimenting from only $127.

Saltwater Freshwater Aboriginal Cultural Festival: January 26. The annual Saltwater Freshwater Festival which falls on Australia Day, is a unique and much loved event open to a broad spectrum of the Mid North Coast community - Aboriginal, non-Aboriginal, youngsters and Elders alike. This year sees this event at the new venue of the Jetty Foreshores.

Ladies Open Day Sawtell Golf Club: Wednesday, January 30. Come enjoy Sawtell Golf Club's Ladies Open Day. A chance to see what this club can offer.


co.lab.arts: Work in Process exhibition: February 1 to March 1 at Coffs Harbour Regional Gallery. An art exhibition where a painter, a photographer and an arts therapist come together to work on a project exploring and documenting a creative journey.

Newcastle Permanent's Cinema Under the Stars: Saturday, February 2 at Coffs Harbour Showground. From 5.30pm enjoy a fantastic line-up of family friendly entertainment and activities before watching The Greatest Showman at sundown.

2019 NSW Junior State Oztag Championship: February 8-10. More than 300 junior teams from across NSW compete against each other over a three-day tournament to be crowned NSW champions. Junior comp: 12-17 years.

Gerry Wedd Kitschen Man - Jamfactory Icon Exhibition: March 8 to May 4. From his beginnings at the kitchen table to his work with the iconoclastic surfwear company Mambo, witness his work at the Coffs Harbour Regional Gallery.

Ripped Off: March 8 to May 4 at Coffs Harbour Regional Gallery. In this exhibition, four artists, who also happen to surf, have created new works in response to Witzig's extraordinary archive. Featuring Jon Campbell, Robert Moore, Gerry Wedd and Ozzie Wright, plus new work by John Witzig.
