I support David Sneider's efforts (Mail, ANJ February 2013) to introduce antimicrobial scrubs into his local Emergency Department (ED). If David represents the issues fairly, then it is almost abhorrent that patient and clinician safety is traded off against a corporate image. Having said this I recommend David ensures that all elements of infection control in his department are considered, including the cessation of the wearing of lanyards and jewellery by all clinicians, if this has not...
