The Australian political scene has been volatile over the past few weeks. While I sit and watch the unfolding melodrama with some degree of anticipation I'm struck by the worthlessness of much of it. I think people want the government to govern, I know I do: surely that is what we elected them to do? Having managed to make law the Gonski education reform, the Living Longer Living Betteraged care reforms and the National Disability Insurance Scheme there is still plenty to achieve.
