New South Wales wine and dine Californians: over 70 Australian exhibitors presented more than 200 new food and wine items at the Australian Specialty Foods and Wines Expo, which was held in Los Angeles in January.

The resounding success of last year's Australia Week activities helped participating companies secure commercial food and beverage business deals in the USA worth more than $1 million.

New South Wales-based companies such as Brookfarm, Beechworth Honey and Arrowfield Estate exhibited and sampled their products to more than 400 food and wine trade contacts, executive chefs from Los Angeles area restaurants, top caterers, large distributors, small speciality importers and trade media.
