Anyone who has travelled to China will be familiar with the fog of pollution that hangs over the larger modern provinces.

Steps to take care of this problem have been taken by the Chinese Government, including a ban on diesel fired boiler systems and coal-fired systems in certain areas.

One company taking advantage of his move towards a cleaner China is Quantum Energy, which designs, manufactures and install hot water and central heating systems. The Sydney-based company has recently secured $14 million worth of contracts, most of which are in China.

Managing director Phil Sidney says the Chinese Government's serious attitude towards cleaning up air pollution has been a major opportunity for Quantum Energy.
